About The Position

The Configuration Management Specialist shall be responsible for configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management. Individual shall also work closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle. Individual shall provide change management and product configuration management guidance.

Requirements

  • VNE, LLC is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared Configuration Management Specialist II
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Seven (7) years of professional experience with configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management.
  • Individual shall also work closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle.
  • Individual shall provide change management and product configuration management guidance.
  • Three (3) years as configuration management in ISR/IO or C4ISR systems.
  • Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
  • Proficient with utilizing Git and DevOps tools for automation, reporting, and CM (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or Similar).
  • TS/SCI level Clearance required.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face
