About The Position

CFS Brands is seeking a detail-oriented Configuration Management Analyst (CMA) to support product data management across multiple locations and departments. This role is responsible for maintaining and updating product data within the ERP system, coordinating configuration changes, and ensuring data accuracy across raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods. The CMA works cross-functionally with Product Management, Project Management, Sourcing, Purchasing, IT, Finance, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Sales to support product lifecycle changes and ensure the integrity of product data systems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving data and process challenges, and has strong attention to detail.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • 5–10 years of professional experience in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in data management, ERP systems, or product data maintenance
  • Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects and competing deadlines
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority
  • Knowledge of standard work practices and root cause analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (functions, formulas, formatting)
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies
  • Process improvement mindset with a focus on data accuracy and operational efficiency
  • Experience with ERP systems (AS400, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Comfortable working at a computer for extended periods (approximately 95% desk-based work)

  • Background in data integrity or master data management preferred

Responsibilities

  • Review, validate, and upload Internal Change Requests (ICRs) and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) related to product configuration and data updates.
  • Maintain accurate product data within the AS400 / iSeries ERP system, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Develop deep knowledge of AS400/iSeries system functionality and data structures.
  • Maintain documentation and tracking for ICR/ECR requests and status updates according to established standards.
  • Communicate configuration and product data changes across cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate new item setup and product configuration based on inputs from Project Management, Materials, Operations, and Product Management.
  • Identify and troubleshoot product data or item setup errors in ERP systems.
  • Support process improvements and data accuracy initiatives.
  • Participate in training and professional development required for the role.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
