About The Position

Peraton is seeking an experienced Configuration Management Analyst for a Part-time/on-call role. Location: Robins Air Force Base, GA Primary Responsibilities: Analyze product design changes to determine impacts on design, functionality, and required documentation. Prepare and maintain all documentation associated with design or configuration changes. Design and establish configuration and management documentation standards. Authorize the release of drawings and software configuration changes as directed by management and cross‑functional teams. Develop and maintain software configuration management (SCM) tools to support configuration identification, control, reporting, and delivery for both internally developed and COTS software products. Perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new software product operating parameters are documented, compliant with standard hardware configurations, and logistically sustainable. Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools using programming, database, or scripting languages to support software modeling and development. Design and implement build procedures supporting software product development and deployment. Potentially develop company‑wide software configuration standards. Provide training to software developers on configuration management tools and software quality standards.

Requirements

  • 5 years of relevant experience with a BS/BA, 3 years with an MS/MA, 0 years with a PhD.
  • Experience with the D200F process.
  • Experience updating tables and executing queries in Microsoft Access.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience developing process documentation.
  • Self‑motivated, able to work independently, and results‑oriented.
  • Strong organizational skills and strong verbal/written communication abilities.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Ability to work on‑site at Robins Air Force Base in Warner Robins, Georgia.
