About The Position

The Configuration Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the accuracy, completeness, and continuous improvement of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform. This role contributes to the integrity of IT service data by maintaining Configuration Items (CIs), relationships, and supporting processes such as Discovery and Service Mapping. The analyst works under close supervision and collaborates with senior team members to ensure alignment with industry standards and organizational goals. CMDB important to this role! Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years' experience in technical, information systems, or related roles accepted in lieu of a degree. ServiceNow experience preferred. Focus on analysis, process improvement, and technical roles preferred.
  • OR Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience in technical, information systems, or related roles accepted in lieu of a degree. ServiceNow experience preferred. Focus on analysis, process improvement, and technical roles preferred.
  • OR High School diploma, or equivalent, and 7 or more years' experience in technical, information systems, or related roles accepted in lieu of a degree. ServiceNow experience preferred. Focus on analysis, process improvement, and technical roles preferred.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Required 180 Days

Nice To Haves

  • ITIL Foundations Certification Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensures the CMDB remains a reliable source of truth by maintaining accurate data and supporting compliance efforts.
  • Supports day-to-day CMDB operations, data entry, and basic reporting.
  • Works under close supervision to maintain CI records assist with audits.
  • Support the automation and visualization of infrastructure and service relationships through Discovery and Service Mapping initiatives.
  • Provide insights and visibility into CMDB and asset management performance through reporting and analytics.
  • Stay current with trends, best practices, and new ServiceNow platform features through regular training and self-study.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of Configuration Management processes and governance frameworks.
