In this role, you will be at the heart of configuration and data control — managing technical baselines, governing change processes, and ensuring configuration documentation and deliverables are accurate, compliant, and fully traceable throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You’ll collaborate across engineering, program offices, and cross-functional teams to uphold CM plans and DoD standards that directly contribute to the readiness and effectiveness of defense systems and services. Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Active Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • DoD configuration management experience.
  • Experience with HW/SW configuration audits and CM tools.
  • Strong understanding of change control processes and SDLC.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and database/data entry tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead configuration control for software, engineering documents, and technical data.
  • Manage baselines and CM records (including identification, change control, and status accounting).
  • Facilitate and document Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and technical change reviews.
  • Analyze proposed changes for impact to operations and sustainment.
  • Ensure contractor and internal conformance with CDRL and compliance standards.
  • Prepare CM reports, data status updates, and government/vendor correspondence in accordance with applicable DoD directives and DFARS.
  • Archive and maintain acquisition documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.
