This position will serve an important role in the Office of Civil Rights Investigations and Compliance (OCIC) as it supports the mission, goals, and objectives of Oregon Health & Science University. OCIC serves a critical role in support of OHSU's efforts to foster a safe, diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environment and workplace culture. The position has the primary responsibility for conducting outreach, intake interviews, and referrals in response to civil rights and Title IX complaints lodged by employees, students, patients, volunteers, and others affiliated with the University. These responsibilities include conducting thoughtful outreach to reporting parties, facilitating contact with supportive resources, conducting neutral assessments of incoming reports; conducting and documenting trauma-informed intake interviews, and providing case management services as well as investigative support, when appropriate. This position will assist in partnership building, facilitating referrals to partners throughout the University. It will support communication with all levels of management and university and academic leadership in the areas of civil rights and Title IX.
