About The Position

CONCRETE TRUCK DRIVER Northeast Precast (NEP) is now hiring for a full-time Concrete Truck Driver. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company! Competitive hourly pay Benefits – medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, voluntary benefits Vacation/personal time off Overtime after 40 hours Growth potential JOB DESCRIPTION Cement Mixer Truck Drivers are responsible for the loading and pouring of mixed concrete into prepared molds and beds in the commercial plant in a safe and efficient manner. This position is for plant work only. Trucks remain on the facility premises at all times and do not travel to job sites or any other project areas.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license
Communication Proficiency
Production focused
Teamwork Orientation
Must be lawfully permitted to work in the US
Time management skills, responsible, honesty, and hard-working a must
Previous mixer driver or similar heavy equipment operator preferred, but will provide the necessary training for the right candidate

Nice To Haves

Bilingual is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

Loads the truck with ready-mix concrete from the Batch Plant according to the prescribed procedures
Ensures the timely and accurate pouring of concrete when needed within the plant
Discharges concrete, involving removing extension chutes, placing on the main chute, driving in and out of areas of the plant with various construction obstacles
Wash residual concrete from the truck
Maintains safe operation and clean appearance of truck exterior and interior
Checks vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order; alerts management of necessary repairs
Other duties as assigned as needed
