About The Position

The concrete saw operator is responsible for accurately cutting joints for both cured and green concrete using dry cutting, wet cutting and soft cutting methods. Compete sawing task in a safe, controlled, and timely manner. ESSENTIAL SAW OPERATOR FUNCTIONS Make concrete saw cuts using both dry and wet concrete and soft-cut situations. Accurate control cuts on finished concrete pavements such as roadways, runways, and other surfaces Perform deep cuts for pavement removals or damaged areas. Perform a variety of physical tasks and be able to multitask. Experience with using large concrete saws and quickie saws Must be flexible with work hours. Working either day or evening Maintain equipment. Dependable and able to work independently as needed. Motivated self-starter to take initiative Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to various project sites. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent Must have at-least 2 years of related experience as a concrete saw operator. Strong work ethic with integrity and commitment to compliance and team environment. Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, walk, stand; Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
