About The Position
United Trades of America is hiring a Concrete Plant Operator to support operations at our Birmingham, AL site. We are a leader in concrete paving and are looking for dependable, hands-on operators.
Requirements
- Mechanical skills preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
Nice To Haves
- Prior plant or equipment operation experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate portable pugmills to batch concrete mixes.
- Manage material receiving and stockpile inspections.
- Maintain accurate records of production, water content, and plant hours.
- Clean and inspect plants daily.
- Assist with troubleshooting and minor repairs.
- Follow all safety and quality standards.
