About The Position

R.J. Corman Railroad Group is seeking a qualified Concrete Laborer in Nicholasville, KY. Responsibilities: Knowledge of concrete mixing and pouring techniques. Must have a valid driver’s license. Able to operate required equipment. Some travel required. Must work overtime, holidays, and weekends when required. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: High school diploma and/or equivalent. Advanced concrete experience and knowledge and some basic construction and building maintenance experience desired. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Physical Requirements: Verbal, auditory, and written capabilities to effectively communicate in an articulate manner. Clarity of vision at varying distances to perform various work assignments. Standing and walking for extended periods of time. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a variety of specialized tools and equipment. Reaching overhead, above the shoulders, and horizontally. Occasional bending, kneeling, or crouching. Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling object(s) weighing up to 75 pounds. Climbing ladders and working from heights as necessary. Environmental Conditions: Indoor/outdoor environment subject to changing conditions and temperatures. Regular exposures to fumes, dust, odors, heights, and loud noises. Benefits: R.J.
