The responsibilities will vary but generally would include some or all of the following: Perform general hands-on physical construction tasks that could include operation of heavy machinery such as skid steer, backhoe, excavator, compactor etc., and performing general carpentry and concrete tasks. Perform excavation, trenching, and onsite underground utility install. Safely and efficiently perform general construction functions with various types of hand tools and small power tools. Study blueprints, sketches or building plans for information on type of material required, constructs concrete forms, places concrete in forms, ties rebar and finished concrete. Frame, form, pour, and finish slabs and footers. Framing and finish carpentry, drywall and painting.

Requirements

• Must have 3 years minimum experience in Commercial construction.
• Knowledge of construction processes, industry, and delivery methods.
• CDL License is a plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential.
• Ability to work different shifts, long hours (8-12 hours).
• Employees must be able to function well with regard to the following: Uncontrolled environmental conditions. Constant change in weather and site conditions.
• Occasionally lifting up to 75 lbs., routinely lifting 50 lbs.
• Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, seeing and reading and reaching to perform everyday job tasks.
• Travel is required, but in most cases does not involve overnight stays.
