About The Position
With over 115 years in business in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Black Top Paving, a Journey Group division, is growing and seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join their team. The role involves preparing, pouring, and finishing concrete on various site elements such as sidewalks, curbs, gutters, concrete pavements, fillets, approaches, inlets, and other miscellaneous site work. The company prioritizes safety, respect, and ethical practices. A $1500 sign-on bonus is offered for new hires.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in concrete forming, pouring, and finishing
- Knowledge and use of all safety devices and general safe work practices
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
Responsibilities
- Prepare concrete on sidewalk, curb and gutter, concrete pavement, fillets, approaches, inlets, and other miscellaneous site work
- Pour concrete on sidewalk, curb and gutter, concrete pavement, fillets, approaches, inlets, and other miscellaneous site work
- Finish concrete on sidewalk, curb and gutter, concrete pavement, fillets, approaches, inlets, and other miscellaneous site work
