About The Position

Maschmeyer Concrete of Florida is currently seeking a highly motivated, dependable Forklift Operator to join our team at our Concrete Block Production Plants in major cities throughout Florida. Concrete Block Forklift Operator Job Specifications include: 1 year of experience operating a forklift; preferred Experience operating a truck-mounted forklift (ex. Moffet); preferred Ability to communicate effectively Required availability: Monday - Saturday

Responsibilities

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Communicate any needed repairs, safety issues, or concerns to the management team
• Maintain a clean and safe forklift by
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
• Safely operate a forklift to efficiently transport concrete blocks around the plant
• Ability to read tickets and pull orders with detailed accuracy
• Properly load and unload concrete block from flatbed trucks and conveyer lines
• Assist with daily housekeeping duties to maintain a safe environment free of debris
