About The Position

The Concierge serves as a key ambassador of the hotel, delivering personalized, anticipatory service to create exceptional and memorable guest experiences. This role is responsible for assisting guests with a wide range of requests, including dining reservations, transportation arrangements, local recommendations, and special experiences, all while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, speak and communicate in basic English preferred
  • Experience in a luxury hotel, hospitality, or other relationship centered job is preferred
  • Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate with guests about job-related needs
  • Detail-oriented and thorough
  • Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards
  • Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests
  • Knowledge of the local area and its restaurants, shopping and recreation
  • Administrative skills
  • Organizational; and multitasking skills
  • Must have appositive attitude with the ability to remain positive and patient
  • Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, walking and frequent parking/ retrieving of guests’ vehicles
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Indoor and outdoor environment
  • Possible exposure to extreme heat or cold depending on season
  • Direct communication with guests at the front desk

Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, professional, and personalized service to all guests, ensuring a seamless and elevated experience
  • Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer tailored recommendations for dining, entertainment, and local attractions
  • Secure reservations for restaurants, tours, transportation, and special events
  • Coordinate special requests such as celebrations, amenities, and VIP arrangements
  • Maintain strong relationships with local businesses, vendors, and service providers to enhance guest offerings
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with discretion, urgency, and professionalism
  • Stay informed on local events, cultural activities, and exclusive experiences
  • Assist with directions, travel planning, and itinerary creation
  • Ensure all guest interactions reflect the hotel’s luxury brand standards
  • All other duties as assigned
