About The Position

Do you love helping people discover the best of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park? The Bar Harbor Inn and Spa is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and guest-focused Seasonal Concierge to join our Front Desk team at one of Maine’s most iconic oceanfront destinations. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted local resource for our guests—offering personalized recommendations, assisting with activity planning, and helping create memorable experiences throughout their stay. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys customer interaction, problem-solving, and sharing their passion for the area. Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of Bar Harbor and surrounding attractions preferred (or willingness to learn quickly)
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Prior hospitality or guest services experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and provide personalized recommendations for dining, activities, shopping, and local attractions
  • Assist guests with booking tours, reservations, transportation, and special requests
  • Share knowledge of Acadia National Park, seasonal events, and local highlights
  • Coordinate with the Front Desk and other departments to support guest needs
  • Resolve guest questions or concerns promptly and professionally
  • Maintain concierge materials, maps, brochures, and activity displays
  • Stay informed on local happenings and services to best assist guests
