About The Position

The Concierge Club Level position involves monitoring the club lounge to ensure seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and overall well-being. Key responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the bar, tables, and tools, as well as preparing and serving a variety of beverages. The role requires diligent stocking of ice, glassware, and supplies, anticipating replenishment needs, and performing dishwashing duties. The Concierge is also responsible for completing opening and closing procedures, requisitioning and transporting supplies, securing inventory, and documenting pertinent information. Communication with the kitchen for meal requirements and special requests is essential. Beyond operational tasks, the role emphasizes guest interaction, including welcoming and acknowledging guests, anticipating and addressing their service needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and expressing genuine appreciation. Adherence to company policies, maintaining a professional appearance, confidentiality, and asset protection are paramount. The position requires clear and professional communication, accurate document preparation, and effective telephone etiquette. Developing positive working relationships and supporting team goals are also expected. Physical demands include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 25 pounds, and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. This role is part of Marriott International, specifically for Renaissance Hotels, which aims to provide guests with an immersive local experience.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Monitor club lounge for seating availability, service, safety, and wellbeing of guests
  • Maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools
  • Prepare and serve hot, cold, and/or alcoholic beverages
  • Stock ice, glassware, and supplies
  • Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs promptly
  • Wash dishes and serving utensils as needed
  • Complete opening and closing duties
  • Requisition all necessary supplies, transporting supplies from storeroom to bar set-up area as required
  • Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas
  • Document pertinent information in department logbook
  • Forecast additional meal requirements and communicate special requests to the kitchen
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Protect company assets
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language
  • Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
