This position involves monitoring the club lounge to ensure seating availability, service quality, guest safety, and overall wellbeing. Key responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness and condition of the bar, tables, and tools, as well as preparing and serving hot, cold, and alcoholic beverages. The role requires stocking ice, glassware, and supplies, anticipating replenishment needs, and washing dishes and serving utensils. Daily duties also encompass completing opening and closing procedures, requisitioning and transporting supplies, securing inventory, and documenting pertinent information. The Concierge is expected to forecast meal requirements and communicate special requests to the kitchen. Beyond operational tasks, the role demands adherence to company policies, maintaining a professional appearance, protecting company assets, and upholding confidentiality. A core aspect is providing exceptional guest service by welcoming and acknowledging all guests, anticipating and addressing their needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and expressing genuine appreciation. Effective communication, both verbal and written, and telephone etiquette are essential.
