We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Concessions Supervisor to lead the operation of our Frost Bites food truck and deliver magical experiences through great food and outstanding service. Position Summary: The Concessions Supervisor manages the daily operations of the Frost Bites food truck at Ice Castles Silverthone, CO, ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe service for all guests. This individual leads a small team of concessions staff, oversees food prep, ensures cleanliness and compliance, and maintains high standards of quality and hospitality. This is a full-time seasonal position running from early December through the end of the Ice Castles season.
Requirements
- Must have or be willing to obtain required food handling and concession licenses/certifications for the State of Colorado.
- Ice Castles will cover costs for training and certification renewals as needed.
- Prior experience in food service or concessions supervision preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Able to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 25 pounds regularly.
- Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays during the Ice Castles season.
- Strong focus on guest satisfaction, safety, and operational excellence.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in food service or concessions supervision preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Frost Bites food truck, ensuring a consistent, positive guest experience.
- Supervise and schedule a small team of concessions workers, promoting teamwork and efficiency.
- Ensure proper food preparation, storage, and service in compliance with state and company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all concession areas and equipment.
- Manage inventory, assist with supply ordering, and ensure accurate cash handling and POS transactions.
- Ensure all food safety protocols and health codes are met; maintain required certifications.
- Communicate regularly with Event Managers and other Supervisors to coordinate guest flow and site operations.
- Support hiring and training of new concessions team members.
- Lead with enthusiasm and professionalism, setting the tone for guest interactions and team performance.
