About The Position

The Concessions Supervisor is directly responsible for the general supervision and oversight of Snack Shops, Coffee Shops, and overall food handling and sanitation procedures for all concession food service areas. This role involves being part of a mission-driven, faith-based organization dedicated to making a lasting impact on the lives of youth and families through year-round camping ministries. The work directly contributes to making memorable experiences and fostering spiritual growth within a supportive Christian community in a beautiful environment that values faith, growth, and relationships.

Requirements

• Possess at least a basic understanding of food preparation and general food handling procedures
• Keep up a current Food Handler’s License
• Strong organizational and personal/relational skills
• Current in general office technology
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and responsibilities in an unstructured environment
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in management with demonstrated success
• Commitment to the Christian faith and a desire to share the knowledge of Jesus Christ with others
• Able to agree with our Statement of Belief and abide by our Code of Conduct
• Able to live in available Hume Lake housing or provide private accommodations

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors Degree in related Food Service/Business Management field is preferred
• Customer service and sales experience preferred

Responsibilities

• The hiring and training of all staff in the areas under supervision
• Maintain healthy staff morale and address any employee conflicts
• Ensure both quantity and quality control of food preparation
• Ensure that all buildings are kept clean and organized
• Ensure that all the equipment is working properly
• Purchasing of all goods and supplies
• Control inventory, minimizing overages, and ensuring proper rotation of goods
• Research and control the prices and profit margin of sold items
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required
• Manage and utilize camp resources with a biblical view toward stewardship
