About The Position

Oak View Group (OVG) is a global leader in premium live entertainment infrastructure and services, specializing in venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. Founded in 2015, OVG manages seven world-class venues and serves a diverse client roster across four continents. The Concessions Bar Back is responsible for supporting bartenders by restocking products to ensure continuous service during events, while strictly adhering to all alcohol dispensing policies and procedures. The role requires excellent attendance and availability to work events as scheduled based on business needs.

Requirements

Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.
Possess a valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations.
Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to product inventory.
Demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.

Previous experience in a concessions role a plus.

Responsibilities

Stock products for the bar, including N/A beverages, alcoholic beverages, icing wells, sweeping and mopping the bar, moving kegs in and out of keg coolers, and tapping kegs.
Draft beer and pour wine for guest orders, and run supplies for bartenders such as backup fruit, napkins, cups, utensils, and stirrers.
Assure that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to the start of the event.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar and surrounding areas utilizing sanitation procedures, including mopping floors, cleaning and stacking floor mats, emptying and relining trash cans, and keeping closet areas clear of debris and clutter.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the high-profile 4K TCL Bar and Sky Club locations.
Recognize visibly intoxicated guests and make bartenders aware of such individuals.
Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.
