Responsible for opening and/or closing the Racing Snack Bar in accordance with operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations and cash control policies and procedures. Prepares dishes up and serves food and beverage menu items offered at the snack bar according to established recipes and procedures. Requires knowledge, skills, and experience in accurately handling various forms of cash transactions, decision-making, problem solving, complaint resolution, and customer service. Follows all operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations and departmental policies and procedures. Ensures appearance of Snack Bar and work areas are maintained in a clean and functional manner. Notifies appropriate staff members when assistance is needed. Demonstrates an upbeat and outgoing demeanor while on duty. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols.
