About The Position

This position is responsible for the overall operation of the aquatic concession area.

Requirements

• Minimum of eighteen (18) years of age plus a minimum of two (2) years in a food service position with cashier duties.
• This position must have an adult/child CPR certification and ServSafe certificate.
• This position must be able to occasionally move items such as a pallet of soda weighing up to 25 lbs.
• This position will be required to frequently move about the concession area and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, twist, and reach.
• This position will be required to stand for extended periods of time.
• This position must be able to be exposed to all extreme summer weather conditions including heat, sun, rain, and varying degrees of temperature and light.
• This position will also frequently be exposed to hot oils, grills, stoves, and cleaning chemicals and cleaning supplies and be able to work in an environment that will be very warm at times due to outside weather conditions and the heat of the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and evaluate staff.
• Responsible for checking inventory daily and ordering supplies.
• Skilled in use of concession equipment.
• Evaluate concession operation and prepare daily reports.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures.
• Make up daily staff schedules.
• Must have knowledge of and follow concession policies and sanitation regulations.
• Provide a high quality of customer service in a professional manner to the internal customer that will facilitate team building and exceptional customer service to the external customer.
• Follow the Wheaton Park District policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Proactively support the V.A.L.U.E.S. (integrity, fun, commitment, adaptability and growth, kindness, and service) on a daily basis.
• Maintain good safety awareness and follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
