About The Position

This position is responsible for the setup, preparation, and production of concession food items in the concession stands.

Requirements

  • Must possess basic working knowledge of fryers, flat top grills, and roller grills
  • Must possess the ability to stand for extended periods of time working in a heated area and work in an often fast-paced environment
  • Must possess the ability to pay close attention to cleanliness and detail
  • Must possess the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
  • Must possess the ability to work hours as dictated by events
  • Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays, work as a team, and have reliable transportation
  • Must pass a Consumer Report background check

Responsibilities

  • Sets up the cooks’ station(s) and makes sure that all cooking tools are in place
  • Filters and/or changes cooking oil as needed or directed, disposing the spent oil in the appropriate manner
  • Completes all pre-event food prep as directed
  • Prepares all food items and makes sure the stand is kept stocked with cooked product during the event as business warrants, stocking as business builds while minimizing all spoilage and waste
  • Follows all food handling procedures as directed
  • Breaks down cooks’ station(s), cleans all cooking tools and equipment, returning everything to its place, ready for the next event
  • Sweeps and mops concession stand floors and assists with the removal of any trash and cardboard from the concession stand
  • Performs other tasks as assigned
