About The Position

The Concessions Bartender is responsible for preparing alcoholic beverages during Center events and concessions.

Requirements

• Must be of legal age to prepare and sell alcoholic beverages
• Able to stand and walk for 6 hours
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work overtime, late hours, holidays, etc. if needed
• Must wear appropriate uniform at all times
• ABC “LEAD” certified preferred
• Food handlers’ card
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• At least one year of relevant work experience.
• ABC “LEAD” certified is preferred, or must be willing to obtain right away.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand and walk for 6 hours or more depending on the shift.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Selling a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during CCAE functions.
• Pouring sodas, beer, wine, bottled water, and other beverages.
• Providing excellent customer service while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Counting cash accurately and making correct change quickly.
• Understanding and ensuring all State and Federal alcohol serving policies are followed.
• Adhering to all laws, rules, regulations pursuant to California Alcohol and Beverage Control.
• Stocking items as needed.
• Setting up, cleaning, and breaking down workstations.
• Assuring the proper handling and cleaning of all equipment.
• Ensuring all sanitation procedures are followed pursuant to state and local regulations as well as OSHA requirements.
• Maintaining and balancing individual cash banks.
• Following all designated opening and closing procedures to ensure areas are secure, energy efficient, and sanitary.
• Following all sanitation procedures including safety guidelines and OSHA requirements.
• Attending all safety meetings as required by management.
