Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional systems administration/network engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required to be considered for this role.
  • Certification Requirement: Network + or equivalent with approval

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, operation, and maintenance of COMSEC equipment and software, ensuring they meet security standards.
  • Enforce COMSEC policies and procedures in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with communications security.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of COMSEC material, including keying equipment and cryptographic keys, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments and external organizations to ensure seamless communication and compliance with COMSEC requirements.
  • Investigate and report any COMSEC incidents, breaches, or anomalies, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • The candidate should have prior experience in COMSEC.
