About The Position

The Paramount Computer Technician will provide on-site IT hardware troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance. The Computer Technician will diagnose and resolve computer-related issues while supporting the department’s technical needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Chrome OS, macOS, and basic networking concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Annual training and/or professional development is required for all PSOE employees. Job-specific training is identified and scheduled by the School Principal or direct supervisor in partnership with Paramount C-suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • Proficiency in using remote-control software to diagnose and fix computer problems remotely.
  • Understanding of computer networks and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Ability to research, diagnose, and solve emerging computer-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware issues on Chromebooks, walkies, and peripherals.
  • Assist with software installation, updates, and system configurations.
  • Perform routine maintenance, including replacing keyboards and screens.
  • Maintain and organize IT inventory, including spare parts and equipment.
  • Maintain and reorganize Chromebook carts.
  • Follow company IT policies and security protocols.
