About The Position

This position is responsible for data collection and electronic communications throughout the entire facility including: network devices such as switches, routers, PC's, and servers; telephone systems, wireless AP's and RF terminals; maintaining and updating databases for labelers, printers, scales, metal detectors, packaging and other production equipment in a 24/7 operating environment; troubleshooting and repair of automated systems as required; must be able to plan and complete projects in a timely and cost effective matter in response to internal customer requests; responsible for training and providing support to end users; and additional responsibilities as directed by supervisor. Must be willing to work rotating shifts for coverage within department as part of regular scheduled work.

Requirements

• Education beyond High School, including specialized training, vocational school, and or college courses.
• Relevant experience preferred in troubleshooting IT related issues including wired connectivity, printers (production related), switches, network cabling, WIFI stability.
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills; strong in training capabilities.
• Maintain PC end user support and repair as well as production equipment including label printers.
• Must be willing to work rotating shifts for coverage within department as part of regular scheduled work.
