Purpose: Responsible for all facets of IT for the center. Essential Functions: 1. Responsible for meeting the IT requirements of the corporate, Regional, and National offices. 2. Responsible for determining the appropriate use of software for students; prioritizes the purchase of software. 3. Responsible for network subscription for students’ use and monitors the use. 4. Establishes and maintains users’ accounts, such as Citrix and Center Information System (CIS). 5. Resets passwords for users’ Windows, Citrix, and CIS accounts as needed. 6. Keeps ID badge computer updated. 7. Maintains Job Corps Student Network Server and creates user accounts for all new students. 8. Installs Department of Labor (DOL)–approved software on staff’s and students’ computers upon request. 9. Keeps up with technology changes; recommends to management changes for improvement that would keep the center on the leading edge of technology; recommends computers and printers that will work best for the center. 10. Ensures all staff completes Security Awareness Training and Account Recertification. 11. Provides system training to new hires and all staff. 12. Models, mentors, and monitors the positive normative culture of the center. 13. Acts as a responsible custodian for the assigned center property. 14. Reports violations of ethical behavior. 15. Suggests opportunities for continuous operational improvement and reduction of waste. 16. Identifies and reports environmental health and safety concerns.
