This fully onsite role will need hands‑on experience with Linux/Windows administration, AWS services, and basic automation scripting. This role supports day‑to‑day system operations, cloud environment maintenance, and infrastructure reliability in a secure, mission‑focused setting.

Requirements

  • 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Experience with Linux and Windows system administration
  • Foundational AWS experience (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CLI)
  • Scripting experience (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals
  • Ability to work onsite daily in Springfield, VA
  • Ability to obtain TS/SCI and pass CI poly
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner
  • AWS Solutions Architect

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or container tools
  • Familiarity with system hardening and security best practices
  • RHCSA (in progress or completed)

Responsibilities

  • Support architecture, configuration, and administration of Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows Server systems
  • Assist in designing and maintaining AWS environments (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, Security Groups)
  • Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Support system provisioning, troubleshooting, and environment optimization
  • Perform basic networking tasks (DNS, DHCP, SSH, firewalls)
  • Contribute to documentation, diagrams, and system architecture artifacts
