About The Position

Provide technical assistance to computer system users. Answer questions or resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone, electronically, or via remote assistance. Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, office suite, electronic mail, and operating systems. Accountabilities & Responsibilities Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems. Provide account unlocks Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors. Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications, and job aids Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors, systems engineer, or technicians for service Develop training materials and procedures, or train users in the proper use of hardware or software Confer with staff, fellow employees, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications Prepare evaluations of software or hardware and recommend improvements or upgrades Inspect equipment and image computers for deployment using provided tools Troubleshoot network connectivity with basic tools Support desktop, laptop Computers, as well as mobile devices and peripherals Support basic desktop and web application use Knowledge of Remote support tools (Intune, Goverlan, Teamviewer) Basic ITSM knowledge and helpdesk Ticketing Systems (presently Zendesk) Office 365, Windows and various desktop software package support Windows Active Directory, Network and Print Services, Entra ID and M365 Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

  • Associates in Information Technology, or engineering equivalent, degree deferred in lieu of experience
  • Technical Certification in A+, Security+, Microsoft, ITIL, or Azure
  • 2 or more years of related job experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs
