About The Position

Lindbergh High School is seeking a teacher to lead its computer science program. Examples of classes currently offered are PLTW Cybersecurity, Introductory Programming (Python), and Web Design. Qualified candidates will have the ability to adjust courses to fit the changing needs of our students. Our candidate will develop students’ computational thinking, problem-solving, and digital literacy skills through engaging and relevant coursework that prepares them for college, careers, and life in a technology-driven world.

Requirements

  • Required Missouri Certificate: Business Ed Certificate
  • Upon submission of your application you will be sent and required to complete an Educator Performance Inventory (EPI) assessment, which should take about 45 minutes to an hour to complete.

Nice To Haves

  • Valid state teaching certifications in Computer Science, Business, or both.
  • Knowledge of CTE state funding processes and certification.
  • Familiarity with project-based and inquiry-based learning models.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer programming languages and applications.
  • Experience with robotics, coding clubs, or technology-related extracurricular programs.
