Requirements

  • You are currently pursuing or have recently completed a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — but what matters most to us is how you approach challenges and collaborate with others.
  • Thinks critically and enjoys dissecting technical problems to understand the root cause
  • Communicates clearly and confidently—whether writing technical documentation, updating a ticket, or participating in team discussions
  • Learns quickly and isn’t afraid to ask questions, troubleshoot unfamiliar systems, or suggest new solutions
  • Brings a positive, can-do mindset to collaborative work and enjoys being part of a tight-knit technical team
  • Takes ownership of your responsibilities and follows through with consistency and integrity
  • Shows curiosity about data storage, infrastructure, and open-source technologies
  • Is excited by the idea of making a real contribution to meaningful projects and growing your skills in a hands-on environment

Responsibilities

  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting - Resolve customer service tickets related to configurations, warranty RMAs, and technical issues using Linux (Rocky, Ubuntu) and networking/server hardware knowledge.
  • R&D and Innovation Projects- Assist with internal and open-source research and development, including software integrations, prototype testing, and experimenting with new technologies.
  • Storage Systems Configuration - Support the setup and maintenance of virtualization and storage environments using tools such as Proxmox, ZFS, and Ceph.
  • Team Collaboration & Communication - Participate in daily standups, weekly one-on-ones, and department meetings. Communicate effectively via email, video conferencing, chat, and calendars.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing - Create and update technical documentation and troubleshooting procedures using tools like DokuWiki.
  • Feedback & Continuous Improvement - Receive mentorship and constructive feedback from Technical Service Leads and Data Storage Specialists.
