About The Position

Penn State Abington’s Science and Engineering Division seeks an instructor in the area of Computer Science for a part-time appointment to begin Fall 2026. The successful candidate will teach college-level courses in computer science, including Compiler construction, formal languages with applications, and object-oriented programming with web-based applications in Java. The ideal candidate should be open to offering flexibility in course scheduling and methods of course delivery. Penn State Abington is a thriving four-year college of The Pennsylvania State University located on a picturesque suburban campus near Philadelphia. Requirements

  • Applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse student population
  • Candidates must have completed at least a Master’s degree in either computer science or data science or a related field
