About The Position

This position provides computer operations support within an IBM mainframe and Microsoft Windows environment. The role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of information in a large enterprise setting. Key duties include issuing commands to monitor the usage and scheduling of automated computer operation processes and overseeing printer processing and distribution.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to listen to instructions and follow them accurately
• Ability to work independently
• Adaptable and willing to learn
• Able to communicate well, and to work effectively with programmers, end users, and co-workers
• Able to deal with unique or high-level problems
• Ability to lift 50-pound boxes

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating in a mainframe environment
• Formal computer-related training
