About The Position

Join a team dedicated to designing and producing armored combat and support vehicles. Responsibilities: Lead CFD simulations for vehicle systems and sub-systems using ANSA and Fluent to support thermal and cooling optimization Execute complete system-level thermal analysis to validate against performance requirements Coordinate cross-functional design integration across GDLS platforms Develop and support test plans and conduct correlation studies to validate CFD models against physical test data Proactively collaborate with design engineers throughout the development lifecycle Identify and implement improvements to CFD strategies, tools, and processes Generate and deliver technical reports, summarizing results and recommendations for internal stakeholders Perform occasional evening/weekend work and travel (<10%) to off-site locations as needed Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering 7+ years of CFD experience in thermal/fluid systems Expert knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer Proficiency in ANSA for pre-processing and Fluent for CFD analysis Experience in vehicle design optimization for thermal and fluid performance Familiarity with Windows and Linux/Unix environments Ability to deliver independent analysis with minimal oversight Preferred Qualifications: Security clearance eligibility (U.S. Citizenship required) Background in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Experience with Teamcenter, VisMockup, Creo, NX Knowledge of optimization tools (e.g., Isight, HEEDS) Exposure to Matlab/Simulink and multi-domain simulation tools Familiarity with AI tools/methods in engineering/data analysis Prior work on ground combat vehicles or military vehicle platforms Must meet Anthropometric Size Requirements (ASR) for confined space access Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer. Requirements
