About The Position

Compression Operator II is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the tablet compression equipment. This role partners with other Compression Operators to ensure the tablet press equipment is functioning properly and producing tables that meet quality expectations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attention to detail, teamwork, and ability to stand long periods required.
• Basic computer skills required. Microsoft Outlook preferred.

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of experience FDA or USDA-regulatory manufacturing facility preferred.
• Pharmaceutical or nutraceutical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operational expert in at least three tablet compression processing areas and equipment to include but not limited to the Natoli NP100A, Bolus Press, Natoli NP500, and Korsch XL400.
• Follow approved SOPs pertaining to set-up, cleaning, and operation of compression equipment such as NP100, NP500, Korsch XL400, tablet deduster, metal detectors, balances, scales, hardness testers, friabulators, pneumatic conveyor systems, and dust collection system.
• Learn standard operating procedures (SOPs) and always ensure cGMP compliance.
• Record and document all data to accurately reflect the process times and compression of a product batch and sign off batch records in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs.)
• Verify and document room differential pressure for assigned room.
• Maintain clean, organized and safe working environment.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines, including personal protective equipment, and safety awareness.
• All other tasks as assigned or requested.
