Comprehensive Family Services Coordinator
About The Position
The Comprehensive Family Services Coordinator is responsible for the management and coordination of the activities and services for the Lanai Domestic Violence (DV) programs and Lanai Integrated Services System (LISS) programs. This position coordinates service delivery with staff and other service providers, as well as delivers direct service to clients, when needed. The Comprehensive Family Services Coordinator maintains the Lanai office, vehicle, and condo, and routine travel to and from Maui/Lanai by ferry is required. The position also supports the activities of the Maui Family Peace Center through coordination and direct client services as required. This position works extensively with other service providers, community partners, clients, other supervisors, and the community at large. This position is under the direct supervision of the Senior Program Director.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work or related field from an accredited institution, required.
- Two (2) years’ experience in domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, substance abuse, or family support, required.
- Two (2) years’ relevant experience providing direct client service within a trauma-informed care arena, required.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Has daily access to an automobile.
- Can obtain an acceptable Traffic Abstract at time of hire and annually thereafter.
- Possess and maintain proof of no-fault insurance.
