About The Position
Piper Companies is seeking a Compounder to join a leading pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturing organization in Lynwood, CA. This role is critical to ensuring accurate batching and compounding of OTC products in compliance with strict quality and safety standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5 years of compounding experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical manufacturing.
- Detail-oriented with accurate record-keeping skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work extended hours.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and multiple shifts (1/2/3).
Responsibilities
- Accurately follow formulas and batch OTC products according to specifications.
- Weigh, measure, and reconcile ingredients for each batch.
- Operate mixing equipment, valves, and pumps to compound products safely.
- Record and maintain detailed batch documentation and inventory transactions in Oracle.
- Wash and sanitize tanks and equipment to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Collaborate with other departments and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
