Job Description: The position blends raw materials to create production blends according to specifications, operate blending machines, ensure batch integrity.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be organized and detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

One year of relevant experience- preferred.
Experience in the specialty chemical industry- preferred.
Previous manufacturing / warehouse experience (including forklift)- preferred.
OSHA/HAZ mat experience- preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the preparation of batches with the needs of production lines and/or schedule, and tank capacity.
Facilitates all necessary receiving inspection procedures of bulk raw materials.
Operate blending equipment systems.
Understands and initiates basic batching procedures including reading bills of materials, mixing procedures, and understanding parts numbering system.
Understand mixing, piping, and valve systems for batching tanks.
Clean and sanitize tanks, pumps, hoses, and equipment.
Completes blend as required.
Complete rework activity as needed.
Maintains appropriate housekeeping of compounding area.
Comprehends and utilizes proper PPE equipment.
Follow safety protocols.
Work with other personnel as needed (quality, production assistant, scheduler, etc.)
Load / unload tankers to instruction for safety.
Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
