About The Position

Provide mechanical efforts such as welding, mechanical engraving, machining and mechanical assembly for a program. Performs a variety of fabrication and processing operations in order to build and finish composite and plastic reinforced parts. Applies knowledge of working characteristics of bonding techniques, using precision instruments, hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment. Performs composite layup and mechanical assembly operations to military specification by utilizing process sheets, drawings and written or verbal instructions.

Requirements

US Citizenship
Requires a general academic education and six (6) years diverse Assembly experience with two (2) years of those six (2) years at the Assembly Specialist level.
May require certain certifications.
Performs a variety of fabrication and processing operations in order to build and finish composite and plastic reinforced parts.
Applies knowledge of working characteristics of bonding techniques, using precision instruments, hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment.
