This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Component Planner in Littlestown, PA, with Signify, the world leader in lighting. Ensure on time delivery of materials according to customer requirements and maintain balanced inventory levels. Procurement of all components attached to the respective Purchasing Group and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) Controller in the corresponding factory. Issue purchase orders for components and control pull in, push out, and confirmation dates. Reconcile supplier invoices. Ensure availability of components needed to complete customer orders in accordance with established lead times and to maintain continuity of production. Implement improvement actions to confirm orders and timely deliveries. Forecast and send the demand to suppliers, receive forecast confirmation, and follow up with suppliers to ensure long term availability. Work with Global Components Teams, Commodity Teams, and strengthen supplier relationships. Prepare and present required reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, or related
  • Supply chain work experience (internship experience also considered)
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs.
