The Compliance Training Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a Compliance Management Program (CMP) for the Bank that reasonably ensures compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations (LRR), addresses associated risks of harm to consumers and customers and integrates Regulatory Compliance into the day-to-day responsibilities of its management, employees, and contractors. The Compliance Training Manager is a visible role reporting to the Head of Banking Compliance and is responsible for leading the management of the Banks Regulatory Compliance Training Program and its related maintenance and administration designed to provide the Business Units (BU) education on the LRR applicable to their processes. This includes but is not limited to prioritizing work, reviewing work product, providing periodic updates to Compliance Leaders on matters requiring escalation and assistance, and assisting in work product production. The Compliance Training Manager is expected to have and maintain a mature, broad, and deep knowledge of the Banks BU processes and LRR that pertain to them, serve as the subject matter expert regarding the Banks Regulatory Compliance Training Program and can deliver sound independent judgment regarding technical rules and BU process applicability. Collaborate with BU risk partners and their assigned Compliance Advisors to understand and document the business unit roles, processes and applicable LRR. Understand, collaborate, and support key elements of the CMP including but not limited to the periodic Compliance Risk Assessment, Regulatory Change Management, Regulatory Guidance Assessments, Complaint Management Oversight, Compliance Assurance Testing, Monitoring, Marketing, and Third-Party Management Oversight. Key areas of focus include the development of the annual Regulatory Compliance Training Plan, development of BU role-based training, development of ad hoc training, creation and delivery of Lunch and Learn presentations designed to enhance BU understanding of applicable LRR, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness of training impacting LRR developed by the BUs, and conducting due diligence training reviews of the Banks third party vendors. Work closely with other Enterprise Compliance professionals and Human Resources training management to ensure efficient and accurate course assignments, monitoring, reporting, and follow-up related to training completion and metrics.
