About The Position

Supports the administration of various compliance programs, including but not limited to labor and employment law compliance, immigration compliance, and various HR compliance lanes. Research, design, review, collaborate, apply sense of urgency and priority, and implement existing and new processes to ensure the organization remains compliant.

Requirements

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
  • Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

  • Co-manages various HR compliance programs through the review and understanding of employment law requirements and options in partnership with legal partners.
  • Co-manages various HR/Legal Compliance programs to include, but not limited to, the employee hotline (AlertLine), immigration sponsorship, background adjudication, state and federal posting compliance requirements, Form I-9 & E-Verify compliance, policy management, policy training, AAP, ADA, bids and contracts, legislative updates implementation, unemployment claims and partnering with legal and key stakeholders
  • Stays abreast of all applicable legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting HR activities to ensure the enterprise policies, procedures, and reporting activities are in compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to employment.
  • Ensures proper and accurate invoicing for vendor provided services, coordinates timely payment and tracks posting/payment of funds.
  • Creates and maintains organization-wide establishments to ensure accurate Affirmative Action statistics and other data required for federal, state and municipal regulatory agencies.
  • Writes, maintains, and supports a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Acts as a liaison between all levels of line and staff management, compensation and benefits department, legal counsel, and outside service providers.
  • Assists with resolution of associate relations issues.
