About The Position

The Compliance Officer independently manages and conducts enforcement operations to combat illegal hunting and promote compliance with NSW hunting, biosecurity, forestry and similiar legislation. The role investigates breaches whilst educating the public, liaising with stakeholders, and maintaining accurate records.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to work independently and manage diverse enforcement workloads
  • Experience planning and conducting regulatory operations and investigations
  • Strong communication and advisory skills, particularly in explaining complex regulations
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and problem-solving in challenging field environments
  • Proficiency in IT systems for record-keeping and operational planning
  • Current NSW Driver Licence and the ability and willingness to travel regularly.
