Plant Quality Compliance Manager The Plant Quality Compliance Manager leads all plant‑level quality and compliance activities to ensure alignment with GMPs, FDA regulations, and applicable regulatory standards. This role provides leadership to plant teams, ensures effective execution of CAPAs, maintains audit readiness, and serves as the SQF Practitioner and HACCP Coordinator. The position also supports continuous improvement initiatives and elevates compliance risks and trends to plant and divisional leadership. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA).
  • 4+ years experience in food processing or manufacturing.
  • 4+ years experience with federal and state regulations, documentation systems, and statistical applications.
  • Working knowledge of Low Acid Food regulations, Infant Formula regulations, Kosher and Halal requirements, and other relevant regulatory standards.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own plant‑wide compliance with GMPs, FDA regulations, and applicable federal and state requirements.
  • Serve as the primary site contact for FDA, SQF, Kosher, Halal, third‑party, corporate, and divisional audits.
  • Lead audit preparation, execution, and close‑out—ensuring the site is always audit‑ready.
  • Drive effective, timely CAPA execution, ensuring corrective actions are sustainable and globally applied.
  • Monitor industry and FDA trends to continuously strengthen cGMP maturity.
  • Serve as the Plant SQF Practitioner and HACCP Coordinator.
  • Own the development, maintenance, validation, and verification of the HACCP program, prerequisite programs, and critical control measures.
  • Review and approve plant documentation changes for SQF and food safety impact.
  • Ensure regulatory requirements such as Low Acid Foods, Infant Formula regulations, Kosher, and Halal are robustly implemented.
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and Quality to embed Business Excellence and continuous improvement into plant systems.
  • Support lean, effective processes that reduce waste, improve compliance, and drive productivity.
  • Elevate issues and risks early, ensuring leadership has clear visibility and actionable solutions.
  • Build, coach, and mentor a high‑performing quality team.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development.
  • Foster a strong culture of accountability, engagement, and quality ownership at all levels.
  • Collaborate with Corporate and Divisional QA, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, and Purchasing.
  • Provide technical guidance to ensure projects launch on time, with minimal rework and maximum compliance.
