About The Position

The role of the Licensing Analyst is to prepare, review and submit accurate and timely gaming and business license applications and renewals, and to ensure that the gaming licenses and approvals are maintained by Regulatory Compliance with the respective license conditions and/or in accordance with reporting requirements. This mid-level role assists with compliance of state, tribal and federal licensing requirements in jurisdictions where the Company operates. The successful applicant will report to the Director of Global Compliance based in Las Vegas.

Requirements

  • Strong (3+ years) regulatory compliance experience which may be a combination of regulatory licensing experience in the gaming industry, or transferable paralegal or other legal knowledge/education/experience is required.
  • Background in handling confidential, restricted, and sensitive information, including employee Personally Identifiable Information (PII), attorney/client privilege information, and other similar information as is required to be accessed in the scope of duties.
  • Must be highly organized with sharp attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must have the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Pro.
  • The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Nevada Gaming registration and other jurisdictional licensure, as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of ArdentSky® preferred.
  • Valid Notary Public appointment with the State of Nevada is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete and submit all required applications and documentation for initial and renewal of the following: (1) occupational licensing to support on-site and remote service technicians; (2) company entity licensing; and (3) key employee and officers/directors licensing in jurisdictions where the Company operates or seeks to operate.
  • Complete and submit all documentation required for initial and renewal of Company regulatory license filings.
  • Track Company licenses for submission and renewal deadlines.
  • Verify completeness of application and compliance with all established requirements.
  • Provide support in coordinating with executive officers to schedule fingerprinting, run background checks, pull credit reports, complete questionnaires, etc., in conjunction with license filings and notification requirements across the footprint.
  • Manage caseload to ensure timely and accurate handling of each assigned application.
  • Communicate promptly and efficiently with regulatory authorities in resolving licensing matters, filings, and handling questions or requests.
  • Assist internal teams in resolving licensing or regulatory compliance issues, responding to inquiries, and communicating resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Assist with submitting annual, bi-annual, quarterly, and monthly regulatory filings in jurisdictions the Company operates.
  • Assist with periodic audits to ensure accuracy of data housed in relation to the Company’s software systems (e.g., ArdentSky®, etc.) to securely maintain employee Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and other records as it relates to licensing.
  • Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by the Director of Global Compliance.
  • All other duties as assigned.
