About The Position

A leading digital streaming network seeks a Licensing Compliance Consultant to review contracts for financial terms and compare them to royalty statements, checking for compliance.

Requirements

3-5+ years of relevant global licensing industry work experience.
B.A., B.S. in Business or Finance
Strong understanding of General Accounting Principles (royalty accounting is a plus).
Strong ability to trace an issue to find its root cause and final impact.
Strong ability to understand and interpret contracts.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience in operations finance, accounting, and operations management is preferred

Responsibilities

Tracing financials through a contract’s life cycle to identify and resolve discrepancies.
Advise internal teams on how to correct entry errors that prevent statement processing.
Advise licensees how to resubmit statements that cannot be processed due to errors.
Troubleshoot inquiries from Finance and offshore royalty reporting teams.
Complete ad hoc special projects and provide reporting for management as needed.
Monitor cash expected from licenses.
Manage internal/ external ad-hoc requests as they relate to invoice account balances.
