JOB SUMMARY: Under supervision or direction, inspects and issues written notices of rules violations; assists the Compliance Division with the rules enforcement program; follows up to achieve compliance; and performs related work as required. Work involves obtaining cooperation through extensive contact with others, but supervisions is not exercised. Regular contact with other departments and divisions, City building officials, contractors and frequent contact with residents and resident directors.

Responsibilities

  • Performs plan checks for compliance with Village rules and regulations.
  • Issues notice of rules violations and informs residents of established rules, regulations, and procedures including but not limited to: clutter violations, unauthorized occupancy, noise standards, signs, architectural guidelines, and general operating rules.
  • Conducts inspections of an assigned area to ensure compliance with Village rules, regulations and contract provisions.
  • Inspects buildings to ascertain the nature of a problem raised by a resident service request and initiates service orders indicating required corrective action.
  • Writes clear, concise and accurate reports to document information on a daily basis.
  • Provides exceptional customer service to the residents and guests of this Community and presents a professional image and attitude at all times.
  • Patrols the Community and enforces regulations.
  • Drives a company vehicle to perform duties.
  • Regular Attendance Required. All duties performed on-site for the Community.
  • Works effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listens to and objectively considers ideas and suggestions from others; keeps commitments; keeps others informed of work progress, timetables and issues; addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions; addresses others by name, title or other respectful identifier; and respects the diversity of our workforce in actions, words and deeds.
