General SummaryDevelop a broad understanding and application of the automotive industry Audit/Durability standards and continually strive for improvements and excellence in all facets of the business.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Continuous audits of both static and dynamic processes, including durability tests, wheel alignment, headlight aiming, and vehicle weight verification. Conduct improvement audits and document any issues identified throughout the audit process to drive ongoing enhancements in production quality and ensure adherence to established standards Prepare detailed plans, reports, and schedules for new model audits and coordinate with responsible areas countermeasures, clean points and effectiveness Report out daily audit findings to all levels of management. Complete regulatory compliance audits (FMVSS, CMVSS, etc.) and report results to Headquarters. Track quality issues identified in audits and review countermeasures received meet quality standards Quality Monitoring Program: Assist as needed in prepping vehicles, reporting concerns, coordinate repairs, and return to distributor. Execute special projects to support quality activities.Review the Audit/Durability data and implement improvement activities to drive cost avoidance/quality improvements). Work with Special Teams (CFT, TFT, etc.) to resolve issues.
