About The Position

The Compliance Assistant II is responsible for assisting the Compliance Manager in ensuring that the company is in compliance with all Tribal and other applicable governmental agency’s laws, rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • Ability to interact with a diverse group of individuals in a productive and effective manner.
  • Must be able to maintain solid working relationships with Tribal Gaming Commission staff, Casino Management and Tribal Government.
  • Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must be able to read, analyze and interpret contracts, financial reports and legal documents.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), Outlook and 10 key.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, establish and meet deadlines.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • One year college level accounting and one year of accounting/full charge bookkeeping experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read technical procedures.
  • Ability to write business correspondence, documentation and routine procedures.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to apply basic math and algebra skills.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
  • Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission.
  • Must obtain Title 31 certification as trained by Rolling Hills Casino.
  • Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit for the duration of shift.
  • Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Process the daily reports utilizing Diagnostic Monitor.
  • Assist in Incident Report Investigations
  • Assist in CTR & SAR filings.
  • Verify promotion winner’s information received from Marketing against Audit’s Excel spreadsheet.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality at all times.
  • Other duties as assigned.
